We recognise noise
Children learn to notice when their surroundings get too loud. They explore different sounds and discover that noise can affect wellbeing, attention and comfort.
Help a child find calm when the world gets too loud.
Enter the world of the Noise FightersBeing a Noise Fighter means noticing when sound becomes too much for a child. It means understanding their reactions and knowing how to help them recover calm and comfort.
Noise affects a child’s wellbeing, concentration and emotions.
The child learns to notice the moment when the input becomes too much.
They know ways to calm down, can look for a quieter place, or ask an adult for support.
Adults learn how to support the child and create conditions for rest and quiet - instead of expecting them to simply get used to the noise.
Hush Hero hears every single sound. His remarkable ears pick out noise, and he creates a safe dome of quiet where children can feel calm, comfortable and secure.

In the sessions children do not just listen - above all they observe, experience and practise. They learn to recognise noise, notice their own reactions, and pick up simple ways to feel calmer.

We talk about what happens to the body and to emotions when it is too loud. Children learn to name what they feel and understand their reactions better.
We show simple, practical ways to recover calm. Children learn quieting strategies and how to look for a more comfortable space.
The programme is not about teaching children to simply „put up with" noise. We want them to notice when it becomes too loud for them, to understand their reactions better, and to know what they can do about it.
Hush Hero leads the way
The child gets better at spotting situations where too much sound causes discomfort or fatigue.
They learn simple ways to say that they need quiet, a short break, or a calmer place.
They connect bodily reactions and emotions with what is happening around them.
They pick up simple strategies they can also use outside the sessions.
The programme shows that different people can react differently to the same sounds, and that those differences are worth noticing.
Noise Fighters does not teach a child to endure noise. It teaches them to notice their own needs and know how to respond to them.
The Noise Fighters programme is designed for children in grades 1-3 of primary school. The format, language, characters and tasks are matched to the age of children who are only beginning to recognise their emotions, reactions and needs.
At this age children spend more and more time in a school environment full of different sounds, so it is worth showing them early how to notice the moment it gets too loud - and what they can do about it.
The child recognises that there is too much sound.
They know that tension, unease or trouble focusing can be a reaction to noise.
They can tell an adult that they need a moment of quiet.
Together they find a calmer place and a way to help the child return to comfort.
A child does not have to manage alone. An adult helps them notice, understand and respond.
